Name: Spencer Hung
Spencer Hung was born in Taipei, Taiwan and at the age of 15, he moved to Vancouver, Canada where he graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He apprenticed under Omer Arbel, at then newly established Bocci Design and Manufacturing. At the age of 30, as he had spent half of his life so far in the West and the other half in the East, he decided to join JIA Inc. as design director, and he moved back to his birth place, Taipei. He was centrally involved in many award winning projects include iF design gold award, Golden Pin best of year award, Red Dot design award and Good Design award. Since moving back to Taiwan, he has worked with many globally respected designers on various JIA Inc. projects.

Balance of motivation and contentment.

Have enough free time to cook for my friends and family.

None. Every virtue has its place.

I would like to be left handed.

Always being on the verge of achieving greatness.

A teapot owned by a tea master or a sauce pan owned by a great chef.
Where would you most like to live?:
Vancouver. I miss that place a lot.

Used to be my notebook but now its my iPad Pro. I am pretty obsessed with my Apple Pencil too.

I almost never read fiction. Any non-fiction writer who is able to write interests me. For example, Leonard Koren, Roland Barthes, Kenya Hara, Manabu Mizuno.

Being wrongly accused.

I should have done something I would regret when I was young.
