An experienced creative strategist and public relations professional, Amanda founded Alpha Kilo in London in 2015. Under her leadership, the company has grown into an internationally recognised agency with clients including Airbnb, Harry's, Triennale Milano, Huntsman, and Savile Row, amongst others. Currently a resident of London, Amanda has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Germany, and her contacts span the globe. Having previously worked with Camron in London, Amanda moved to San Francisco in 2012 to start up the satellite office there and quickly grew it with clients including PCH, August, and Bentley Motors. Previously, she was the Show Manager for the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York. In this role, she worked closely with international trade commissioners as well as world-renowned designers and manufacturers. Over the years, she has developed creative strategies and global PR campaigns for B&B Italia, Bentley Motors, Istanbul Design Biennial, and Yves Behar, amongst others. Known for being an idea factory and with her communications expertise, she has been an active advisor to numerous C-Suite executives, including Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia and Huntsman owner, Pierre Lagrange. A graduate of Denison University, Amanda splits her time between London and her favourite US cities.

What is your current state of mind?: Grateful

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?: Amazing! Wonderful! Brilliant! (I also overuse exclamation points) and these days also probably Bless Your/Her/His/Their Heart

Which talent would you most like to have?: I'm currently trying to teach myself how to skateboard and wishing I had way more natural talent there. Also I would love to be able to sing and play multiple instruments (piano, fiddle, guitar, banjo)

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: Perhaps the ability to stay rooted - I'm a restless spirit and a bit of a rolling stone

What do you consider your greatest achievement?: To date, founding Alpha Kilo and finding the amazing team that have kept it on the thrive for five years

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?: Baby Cheese

Where would you most like to live?: I'm a true nomad at heart so if I'm feeling the pull to live somewhere, I just go. Next stop: LA for the winter!

What is your most treasured possession?: The portrait of my grandmorther Jacquie and my passport of course

What do you most value in your friends?: Laughter, loyalty, and contrarians

Who are your favorite writers?: Off the top of my head - Patti Smith, Bill Bryson, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and of course Dickens and Christie (nurtured my fascination with all things English)

Who are your heroes in real life?: Soldiers, First Responders, Physicians and Nurses - anyone who would put their own life in harm's way to save others. Also, all of those out there raising young children in lockdown. MAD RESPECT

What is it that you most dislike?: Negativity and a lack of generosity (read: cheapness)
