Georgie Grandy is founder and director of GrandyArt, an art consultancy promoting established and emerging British artists. Through a series of events, exhibitions, marketing and sales, Grandy has successfully promoted a long, yet curated roster of some of Britain’s most talented fine artists. Grandy, who graduated with honours from Newcastle University in 2001, worked with the prestigious Everard Read Gallery in Cape Town prior to setting up GrandyArt in London in 2006. Through her extensive network and curatorial prowess, Grandy has built GrandyArt into the destination for new and experienced collectors to discover some of today’s most talented new names. Further, her ability to identify emerging talent allows for introductions to artists before the high premiums are placed on reputation. Grandy hosts regular exhibitions and group shows across central London, including Under a Grand, an annual show of emerging artists whose work is destined to value exponentially over time. Recently, Grandy has also started Art & Interiors, a series of salons exploring the intersection of fine art and interior design. GrandyArt’s latest exhibition was called Small Picture Show and it showed a new collection of work by Guy Allen, Ben Brotherton, Emily Crookshank, Fred Clark, VJ Keegan, Stephen Palmer, Maria Rose, Tom Stevenson, Emily Thornton & Michael Weller.
